Let’s face it, Spaniards are pretty darn good at establishing a party atmosphere. With that in mind, we have pulled together a Spanish-flavored Fourth of July menu from chef Omar Allibhoy’s new book, Spanish Made Simple. It starts with Lemon and Honey Chicken Wings that are scented with smoked Spanish paprika, then add Cauliflower with Garlic, Vinegar and Capers for your salad.  Serve both alongside roasted peppers, a plate of thinly sliced salumi, a bowl of good olives, some almonds and wash it all down with Omar’s killer Sangria de Cava. Now, that’s a party! Happy Fourth of July from The Splendid Table.
