  • Quick and Spicy Bean Soup

    Ingredients
     

  • Overnight Braised Beans

    Given 15 minutes for prep, a slow cooker, some dried beans, garlic, onions and whatever seasoning moves you, you can launch a bean stew or this Quick and Spicy Bean Soup. Take off to bed and wake up with a couple of days of good eating ready to go.

  • Rib-Eye Steak with Chimichurri and Patagonian Potatoes

    Many Argentine cooks keep a jar of homemade chimichurri sauce in the fridge (it keeps for several weeks) to either marinate or season cooked meats throughout the week

  • Greek Pot-Crushed Potatoes

    These potatoes will be the brightest taste on the plate. 

  • Slow-Roasted Tomatoes on Croutons

    Slow roasting requires rather little effort for the succulent results that are produced. It concentrates the flavor of tomatoes, leaving them intact but meltingly tender.
