For our episode Mothers & Daughters, Francis Lam visited with Priya and Ritu Krishna, the daughter/mother team behind the wonderful new cookbook, Indian(-ish): Recipes and Antics from a Modern American Family. The book is full of innovative Indian-American recipes from the Krishna home including Dahi Toast (Spiced Yogurt Sandwich), a go-to breakfast food favorite for their family. The Krishas invited Francis into their kitchen learn more about the dish. You can also hear Francis's separate interview with Priya and Ritu about how they wrote the book.
Francis enjoys Indian(-ish) cuisine straight from the source. Try the recipe for Dahi Toast at your home. Photo: Erika Romero | The Splendid Table
