So small that its address is fractional (400-1/2 N. Franklin), the Doughnut Vault makes about 1000 doughnuts every day from Tuesday through Saturday and starts serving them at 8:30am (9:30am on Saturday). When the 1000 are gone, the shop closes. For those who crave instant gratification, it is a maddening place because a line starts forming well before the door opens, so you always will have to wait for donuts, sometimes up to an hour.
