Makes one pie in a 9-inch round Pyrex pie pan
10 minutes prep, 25 minutes cooking, 35 minutes total
  • 2 squares unsweetened Baker's chocolate
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. Put the chocolate and butter into the pie pan. Melt them (microwave).

3. Add the sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir it all together.

4. Bake 25 minutes. Let cool for as long as you can wait. If you can't wait, vanilla ice cream helps cool a slice of pie on your plate.
