Pasties, an Upper Michigan specialty, are becoming harder and harder to find unless you head to Traverse City and Cousin Jenny's. The little meat pies were originally designed for miners to take with them into the mines and were traditionally filled with a mix of beef, onion, potatoes and rutabagas. Aunt Jenny offers seven different fillings. Along with the classic, try the Italian, the German with ham and sauerkraut, or the breakfast variety.
